Handmade Ceramic Storage Jars, Made to Keep Things Fresh

A good kitchen jar does quiet, everyday work. Our airtight ceramic containers are shaped and glazed by hand in our Pune studio, then finished with snug lids that help keep coffee, tea, spices and dry staples fresh for longer. They look at home on an open shelf and are lovely enough to leave out on the counter.

Each jar is finished with a food-safe glaze that is free from lead and cadmium, and it is bone-ash free, so it is a safe home for the things you cook and eat with every day. Because they are handmade, small differences in tone and form are natural, and no two jars are ever exactly alike.

How do I clean and care for my ceramic jars?

Hand-wash the jar and lid with a soft sponge and mild soap, then dry them well before refilling, especially around the rim and any seal. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and sudden temperature changes so the glaze stays beautiful.

Will the jars look exactly like the photos?

Very close, with their own character. Since each jar is thrown and glazed by hand, you will see gentle variation in colour and shape from one piece to the next. That individuality is part of what makes handmade special.
