The Ma Cherie Pasta Plate turns a simple bowl of pasta into something worth sitting down for. Soft pink stripes run across a round, hand-glazed surface made in our Pune studio, with a gentle well that keeps sauces and grains where they belong. It is pretty enough for guests and easy enough for a Tuesday night.
What size is this plate? It measures 7 inches across, a versatile size that suits pasta, risotto, salads, a plate of momos or a generous serving of curry and rice. The shallow curve holds saucy dishes nicely.

Every plate is thrown and hand-striped in small batches, so the stripes vary slightly in spacing and the pink glaze shifts gently from one plate to the next. These differences are natural and mean no two plates match exactly, which gives a set of them a lovely lived-in charm. Pick up a pair for a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Wash with mild soap and warm water, or use the top rack of the dishwasher. Let the plate cool before washing so the striped glaze stays crisp and bright over time.
